Setting Sail & Staying afloat
When heading to the other side of the world in a sailing boat, one of the most crucial aspects is of course to have a functioning vessel. It might seem trivial, but all sailors will know that keeping a sailing boat in perfect working condition is one of the most time (and money) consuming parts of sailing life.
In this section we will talk a little about CALM, the rigging we are traveling with and how useful we find our equipment on board. The boat is fitted with a lot of very nice things to have but as the saying goes – one equipment, one failure…
You can also find some info on the practical sides of our trip, custom clearances, safety concerns, routing, moorings, etc. which will mainly be of interest to fellow sailors.
Finally, there will be some in-depth articles on sailing life in general, so browse around and have fun!
